Kelly is a co-owner and founder of Code 3 Game Calls. A life long hunter, fisherman and outdoorsman, in 2006 Kelly decided to turn his passion of hunting into a way of life. What started as a hobby and a way to pass time while recuperating from a devastating lower back injury he received while employed as a police officer, grew into the desire to provide hunters, sportsmen and collectors with top quality, custom made, game calls. Code 3 Game Calls was born.
Kelly hunts all types of game with every chance he gets. He can be found in the woods pursuing the elusive Whitetail Deer, the Eastern Wild Turkey, Black Bear and various predators to include Coyotes and Red/Grey Fox. Kelly is currently planning his Grand Slam Hunts for the 4 subspecies of the Wild Turkey. He hopes to complete the Grand Slam in 2009-2010.
Kelly is involved in numerous conservation based organizations. He served as Vice Commander of Disabled American Sportsmen and he currently is the founder of Disabled Sportsmen's Alliance along with fellow ProStaffer, Jeff Lamphear The DS Alliance is a non-profit organization designed to assist disabled sportsmen in getting back into the outdoors His belief is that hunters play the most vital role in game management and wildlife conservation. Any chance he can get to spread the message or take a child hunting is a priority. Children are the future of hunting and conservation.
Code 3 Game Calls is currently in talks with several videography companies to record and produce several hunting videos featuring Code 3 ProStaff.
When Kelly is not making top quality Game Calls at Code 3 Game Calls or hunting or fishing then he can be found with his 4 children and beautiful wife enjoying other outdoor activities.
Brett is a co-owner of Code 3 Game Calls along with his brother Kelly. He comes from a family full of hunters and outdoorsmen yet is fairly new to the sport of hunting. He caught the bug about 2 years ago when he decided to go out with his brother to see what the hype was about. Within 15 minutes of sitting down in the dark…several deer ran by and he was hooked. His home away from home is the woods. Brett has devoted much of his free time to learning and absorbing as much information pertaining to the sport of hunting as he can and as a result has become very knowledgeable. He loves to spend quality time in the woods with family, friends, and especially his young daughter. Nothing beats the look on her face when she sees or hears a turkey gobble in the early morning before flydown. Brett is passionate about teaching children about wildlife conservation, ethical hunting and preserving the outdoor resources we all love. Brett escapes to the woods after working in the computer programming field during the week. He enjoys hunting whitetail, wild turkey, coyotes and various small game. His ultimate goal is to travel to the North/Northwest to hunt a Grizzly.
